Film Yuba-Sutter

About Film Shasta

a little history

Yuba-Sutter Counties feature the recently opened Hard Rock Café, Toyota Amphitheatre, the Bok Kai Temple (inspiration for Disney’s Turning Red), the downstairs “speakeasy” in the What Not, New Leaf Llama Farm – yes we love our llamas, and more options for your consideration! Even though it is the newest member to the California Film Commission’s network, there is an incredibly rich history of filmmaking and the community is ready to open the doors – and committed to “Yes” for filmmakers!
